Liquid Cooled Stirling Engine For the MIT class 2.670 I created a modified Stirling Engine which used a liquid coolant system to improve upon its standard efficiency. This coolant system could have used Liquid Nitrogen, but for safety reasons I decided to use Ice Water instead. The Engine ended up achieving 892 RPMs, beating out its nearest competitor by over 100 RPM.
